It’s been Five years since players have gone driving of Ubisoft’s Driver series, though the long-awaited Driver: San fran has finally arrived. Driver: San fran returns players on the role of Detective John Tanner. With this latest iteration, Tanner climbs in a serious car accident, granting him the electricity to psychically shift between cars.
Alright, anybody that read that setup could be scratching their heads. Car crashes give superpowers? Really? That’s a bit difficult to swallow. Apparently , many of the game is played outside in Tanner’s coma dream. Events inside the gameplay out simultaneously in the real world as well as in Tanner’s coma. It’s honestly one of many goofiest narrative setups I’ve experienced in a very game.
Logic isn't one of the game's strong suits. As one example, one mission sees Tanner trying to save women locked in an empty trunk. What’s the ideal solution? Shift in to a car got pointed in the other and slam for the kidnapper head-on, needless to say. The over-the-top story isn't feasible to adopt seriously. However, as preposterous which is, it doesn't obstruct of Driver's solid mission structure and gameplay.
